This Weekend's Special Message | "Moms- God's Special Ministers"
This weekend, we’re celebrating motherhood! Really, we’re celebrating God and His good idea of motherhood. More specifically, we're celebrating His personal gift to each of us with the mothers in our lives. As we do, we'll hear a special message about the special ministry of moms.
 

Prayer Budget | all the ways to log your minutes...⏰
Here are a few easy ways to log your prayer minutes. 1) head to the Church Hub, 2) on your smartphone download the “Church Center” app (the first time you’ll need to set up an account - just follow the prompts!), or 3) write your prayer minutes on the blue offering envelopes and drop that in the offering baskets or black boxes on the back wall.

We want to encourage parents to take the Bible’s commands concerning children seriously to “bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4b). This Service gives parents the chance to publicly dedicate themselves to pointing their children toward faith in Jesus Christ. THIS weekend, be prepared to join us as a church family in commitment to support them in this important ministry to their children!

Women's Ministry, "Paint & Praise" Night | NEXT Fri, May 17 from 6-8pm
Ladies 13+ are invited to bring a friend and a sweet treat to share to “Paint and Praise" Night. This is a time for ladies to hang out and get to know one another while being led in a step-by-step painting. The cost is $15pp and includes paint, brushes, and canvas. Pre-registration at the Church Hub is encouraged for this event to ensure there are enough supplies.
 

Men’s Retreat, Iron Sharpens Iron | NEXT Sat, May 18 
Join a group of men (13+) from our church for a 1-day Men’s Retreat in Albany. Again this year the conference will cover important topics related to Biblical Manhood. Men will be carpooling together, leaving from New Hope at 6:30am on NEXT Sat, May 18 (email Dan Hughes at dhughes2818@gmail.com if you want to provide space in your car to travel down). The cost of the event is $59. To register for this event, head to the Church Hub. (note "New Hope Community Church" for the church name when checking out).
 

Regional Worship Night | Fri, May 24 at 7pm
God is at work in our region, and we continue to see signs that He is bringing revival to the North Country! On Fri, May 24 at 7pm, we’re taking part in a night of worship and prayer with other local churches in our community. Come and join us at Pine Knolls Alliance Church in South Glens Falls.
 

World Mission Conference | May 31-Jun 2
Our World Missions Conference is a great opportunity to connect with and learn from missionaries from all over the world. This year we will have a special Night of Prayer for the Nations on Friday night, including a light dinner (sign up at the Church Hub). Then, in our weekend services, we will hear from many of our different missionaries and regions of the world in which we partner. This will be an impactful weekend that you don’t want to miss!

WOL Summer Camp | Jul 21-27 (wk5)
For all kids 6yrs through 12th grade. Summer Camp can be a life-changing experience for students in their walk with the Lord. Go to the Church Hub to sign up today and secure your spot. #Disciple500 | disciple. be discipled. 
1-on-1 Discipleship [mentoring someone in the faith] is one of the "Next Steps" on "The Journey” at New Hope. It’s an important step for each of us to take as we seek to grow as disciples. If you would like to help someone else grow by meeting regularly with them [disciple], or if you are interested in having someone who is further along in their walk meet regularly with you to help you grow [be discipled], then go to the Church Hub to let us know.

New Hope Loves The North Country | June 3-9
At New Hope, we want to share Christ all over the world, and during New Hope Loves the North Country, we’re going to start right here in Queensbury! Join us on our mission trip to our community with opportunities every day of the week to share Jesus in some special ways. Baby Bottle Drive | Mother's Day-Father's Day
Our friends at the Next Steps 4U Pregnancy Center are hosting a baby bottle drive, collecting change in baby bottles from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. This is a great way to support this pregnancy center, which provides our community with an important resource for moms in crisis pregnancies. Upcoming Mission Trips | July & August
This summer, we have exciting opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus with communities in different locations. In late June, a team will travel to Quebec City, Canada to assist with “Moving Day”, an annual event in Quebec. By helping others in their moves, we have the opportunity to show the love of Christ in a practical way. In August, we will serve at a camp for teenage moms, called YoungLives Camp in Glen Spey, NY. By investing in these moms and loving their children, opportunities are created for them to see the love of Christ in action and to hear intentionally about this love for them. South Asia
Please continue to pray for the ministry centers of South Asia that are equipping and training up church leaders in the midst of great persecution. Please pray for the swift and just conclusion of a recent investigation by local authorities. Pray for the courage of local believers to share Christ boldly in a culture growing more hostile every day.
