Robbie serves as the lead pastor for New Hope. He accepted Jesus as his personal Savior & Lord when he was 12 years old at a Vacation Bible School children’s program at a church close to his home in GA. When he was in high school, he met Shannon and was first exposed to ministry through her family sinceher dadwasa pastor.

After completinga Bachelorof Arts inReligion & Philosophy, they were married and moved to NC to complete his Master of Divinity. During their time there, the Lord began putting NY on their hearts. On February 2, 2000, they moved their family to Queensbury to start New Hope. They thank the Lord for the privilege of being able to be a part of such a special church family and wonderful community!

How he came to New Hope: While working on his masters degree in 1998, the Lord began speaking to him about the Northeast in generaland NY specificially. Over a 2 year process, the Lord began to show Shannon & him that He was calling them to move to Queensbury to start New Hope.

Favorite music: Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, anything on Air One (93.7FM) or the Sound of Life (90.7FM)

Favorite movies: I’m not a big movie watcher. I like deer or turkey hunting videos. Sometimes, I watch Jane Austen movies withShannon.

Favorite hobbies/pastimes: Spending time with family, hunting & fishing (esp. turkey hunting)

Dream vacation:
A cruise with Shannon. A guided hunting trip out west/Alaska/Canada. A trip to the Holy Land.

Little known fact about Pastor Robbie: He drinks a glass of Nestle Quick Chocolate Milk every night. He can play The Lone Ranger song by thumping his cheeks.

Biggest passions: Following Jesus, my family, helping others grow, hunting/fishing
